It's time to take responsibility

Problem statement

People in our society do not have the facilities to avail the training of first aid and another factor that creates a problem is the lack of knowledge about the importance of first aid. The awareness of health hazards promotes a healthy, secure, and safer environment, and instills confidence amongst people, their families, their colleagues, and associates. Basic first aid knowledge is very helpful in dealing with trauma situations. Being trained to provide first aid is useful to oneself and society because it can happen to anyone at any time.

First aid is the immediate care given to the victims of accidents and trauma before trained medical workers arrive.

In some situations, these immediate actions are so helpful that they can save life, eyesight, limbs.

let's take an example of choking to better understand the importance of first aid training :

choking in infants and children causes airway blockage, if immediate thoracic thrust is not provided, it can lead to the death of the infant or child whereas, if an adult presents with choking, he must be provided with abdominal thrust instead of thoracic thrust. it is just a matter of little awareness that can create a big difference.

The importance of first aid training can be more highlighted by knowing the stories of victims of such incidences.

my Sister’s friend lost her father, who got cardiac arrest at his workplace and was not provided with cardiopulmonary resuscitation immediately because there was no trained individual on the spot.

another incidence of my relative, who got a heatstroke at a public place and died. if people had shifted him in a shady area and managed the situation according to the need. he would not have lost his life probably.

Incidence of trauma is high in the world. In everyday life, we all have experienced mishaps around us, these help us to understand the importance of first aid training. The percentage of mortality and morbidity has increased due to the lack of first aid training among the common people who were at the site of trauma. If they had aware of the first aid training, many lives could have saved from death and permanent disabilities.

Our focus is to produce such individuals who can take the authority to lead in such circumstances and can save precious lives.
